Kristianopel, 16 km away, is a small town well worth a visit with its small shops, restaurants and popular cafes. Kalmar offers attractions such as Kalmar Castle and the Kalmar County Museum. Skälby farm with fun playgrounds and close contact with the farm's animals is usually a popular excursion destination for families with children.
